Agile modeling needs lots of "whiteboard" space -- but that does not imply one needs official whiteboards. There are several alternatives:

whiteboard sheets
whiteboard paint
whiteboard wallpaper
bathroom shower waterproofing sheets (big, cheap, work as whiteboards)
???

The type of marker pen combined with the type of sheet is important. Note the hints below on complementary pens.
